Summary: There will be an insulator color shade change. Also, subtle variations in the side wall geometry are possible in the future and notifications will not be sent with each minor change. This is a running change, and all variations of mixing old and new revisions will be possible for several months. The change is backward compatible.

Method of Identifying Change:This will be a non-functional color shade change for the insulator only. While old and new material often have lot-to-lot variation in shading, this new plastic will be noticeably lighter in shade. See images in the linked PDF above for identifying the

Reason for Change: Raw material supplier is taking the existing material to end-of-life. Both the existing and new nylon 66 material are UL94 V0 rated. Side wall drafting improves the moldability of the insulator.

Impact of Change on Form, Fit, or Function: Form - The colour will be a lighter shade and subtle differences will be visible on the side walls.
